Frust! Very frustrating!

Well, baru balik dari meeting, and I am very frustrated with the outcome! I’m involved in this one conference organized by our division as one of the Committee member. Actually, this is the second time for as I was also involved in the first conference which was February 2007. So, this conference shud be the continuity of the previous conference. We all dah rancang from early March lagi…on this coming event. Memang semangat gile le masa mula2 nak start buat planning kan..so, keluar lah idea yg bombastic and everything, which to me, will make this conference better than the previous one plus some more value added to it. Then, come this new senior manager which eventually become our Committee penasihat. And the nightmares begin, where one by one of our planning (some of it have been realized!!) have to tukar last minit. Even to the extend, kena tukar tarikh conference from May to July!!! And the worse getting worser, all the speakers yang kitorang dah book before (external speaker, siap ada dari Wal Mart Global lagi tuh), could not meet the new date. So, terpaksa cari speaker lain lah kan…..
And then, after quite a major changes on the planning and everything by this SM, we tought we can just continue our work kan…rupa2nye, kena present to Management lagi, and for sure, more changes to be made. Ingatkan dah stop kat situ, semalam, our General Manager pulak comment, and she eventually tukar everything yang kitorang dah prepare and plan. Sekarang ni kami macam kena work on it all over again…with the new concept and everything…..yang sedihnya, tinggal sebulan je lagi, mana nak cari speaker, mana nak hantar invitation…..the best part is, this is still not final yet…we have to present to our SGM plak…perghhh….punya banyak birokrasi…..

Kenapa yer….management nak innovative and creative ideas from the youngsters…but then, after kitorang dah propose..everything kena tukar balik dan ikut cara manager2 nih…which for me, macam lebih baik dia yang fikir and lay down the strategy, we all just execute. Nak buat conference yang gempak2…tapi budget dok cantas2 jer….and then, boleh expect kitorang cari alternative yang lebih murah atau kalau boleh percuma!! Sampai satu tahap tu, dia boleh kata, kalau committee boleh menyanyi, committee je menyanyi, tak yah nak sewa band….frust betul!

Hari ni, kami semua nekad, kalau still lagi ada major changes, might as well, we all letak jawatan and diorang cari committee baru yang just execute their instructions!
Sorry guys kalau mcm membebel plak…memamng terasa tak di appreciate langsung…dah le jadi committee ni tak dapat apa2 pun…….nak masuk dlm KPI pun tak boleh….kira macam tolong ajer nih..sedangkan, the planning and everything consume man-hours kat ofis…pheww….
